There was a snow drift remaining in front of trap house #1 that had to be removed before we could work in it on April 10, but the die hard shooters who showed up that day to shoot in the cold wind shot at targets from the low house with the new oscillating thrower.

Warm up is after?

First Place Winner of the UplandSport.Club Championship Trap Handicap was Jacob Marcum. Second place was Alex Sittloh, and 3rd was Bob Thomas. Very close game! Some Shooters did their last 25 in heavy rain and wind. And we did see some club members who stayed in the club house looking out, but we are not naming names.

First Place Prize was Gamblers hide out gun in glass and wood display box and engraved plate with Jacob's name. Black powder 40 cal. Age unknown but excellent condition and still fully functional. Display setting inspired by what Bob always says: "Get a bunch of guys sitting around playing cards, and soon a trap shoot will break out!"
